The house band (host) for the August meeting of the Rock & Roll Martini Group was Kari and Al Arco. Kari and Al featured a Solid Gold martini party, reminiscent of the TV show Solid Gold. The TV show featured ‘70s and ‘80s music. Kari and Al rolled out a taco bar with ground beef, refried beans, crunchy shells, flour tortillas, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, salsa, and sour cream. The Rockers (members) and guests filled in with appetizers and desserts. The martinis for the evening were Tequila Margarita Martinis and Pineapple Vodka Martinis. Many of the Rockers were MIA due to travel and conflicts, but that did not stop the fun from happening.
No screen doors or martini glasses were harmed during the party. Until next month, Rock On!
