No need to wait if you’ve the inclination to create! From now until the end of the year, membership in the Paint & Palette Club is complimentary. If you have any inkling to be creative, this club’s monthly classes can get you started. Joining Paint & Palette may bring you a step closer toward becoming the artist you always dreamed of becoming. Seasoned and new artists are encouraged to join. Members enjoy camaraderie in the club as they share ideas, gain inspiration from others’ creative works, and learn from our monthly non-threatening critique sessions.
The club’s Third Monday Experience offers a class featuring a new technique for producing some unique forms of art. These are generally taught by one of our members. Our class for Nov. 18 from 1 to 3 p.m. is open to members and non-members. We will be given instruction on how to create ornaments with alcohol ink. These ornaments make lovely holiday or hostess gifts. Class is limited to 18 participants. A sign-up sheet is in Room 103. The fee of $10 can be paid the day of the class. If you have any questions, you may email Ann Swirczynski at [email protected].
Many folks have delighted in our Paint & Palette window display of landscapes in the CATC this past month. The upcoming theme for November and December will feature winter and holiday creations. Please stop by to enjoy this new display. You will find artists in the Indian Paintbrush Room (Room 103) in the CATC building every Monday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., and during open studio on Fridays, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
