Women Sharing Hope Christmas Caroling

On Monday, Dec. 16, just in time for Christmas, Women Sharing Hope is sponsoring an exciting Christmas Caroling event that will bring together over 10 teams of more than 60 carolers and visit more than 50 homes! The carolers visit people who needed a bit of cheer due to the loss of a loved one, an illness, and other life challenges. We help bring a light of hope and encouragement to all we visit, and many of the people sing along with us. We hand out candy canes with a card that tells the story of how the shape and colors of the candy represent the birth, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

After caroling, Rosey Ross will host an Afterglow potluck party in her beautiful, festively decorated home at 11121 Cartwright Drive. The carolers will share stories on how the singing blessed those we visit and how we are also blessed. When the sun goes down, we will enjoy the marvelous splendor of her outside house lights—Wow! If you would like to join us this year, please reply directly to Amy Bowman at [email protected] to sign up. If you know someone we can bless with Christmas cheer, please let Amy know the name, address, and circumstance of the person.

So, don your festive Christmas attire, get out your mufflers, and warm up your fa-la-la-la-las. No singing ability is required. God says to just make a joyful noise!

Christmas caroling in December has been an annual event for 15 years and is sponsored by Games for Dames, which is one of the Community Outreach programs of Women Sharing Hope. They meet the third Monday of the month from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the clubhouse. If you are a new resident at Robson Ranch or just want to meet new friends, come learn some easy games or bring one you like and teach us how to play. If you are interested in attending, call or text Rosey Ross at 214-906-9783 or [email protected]. Announcements for Games for Dames are also posted in the HOA Activities emails.

Women Sharing Hope exists to develop friendships, grow in faith, and share God’s love. We meet on the first Friday of the month at 10 a.m. in the clubhouse, and we present a variety of topics. All Robson women are welcome to attend.
