Bimini Sweets Bakery was founded by Anita Orozco in 2011 and is our newest vendor available at our Friday morning Farmers Market. Throughout her childhood, Anita was drawn to all things crafty and artistic. One day as a young, pregnant wife, she found herself staring at beautiful sugar cookies. The bakery just happened to be hiring, and Anita credits working there for teaching her about quality ingredients and many of the decorating skills she still uses today.
After many years of experience working at bakeries in the DFW area, Anita created Bimini Sweets to specialize in custom cakes, cookies, macarons, and cupcakes. Anita prides herself on using only the freshest ingredients to ensure every dessert is a delicious masterpiece.
Bimini Sweets Bakery has been featured on the Cooking Channel’s Cake Hunters and WFAA news and has earned recognition as a neighborhood favorite on Nextdoor.com.
Stop by the Farmers Market next Friday to meet Anita, and take home one of her fabulous desserts. Her offerings include jumbo cookies, macarons, Rice Krispies treats, brownies, cake slices, and six-packs of cupcakes.
