On Saturday, May 17, the African American Social Group (AASG) will be delivering a presentation entitled “Safe and Secure Online Adults.” The presentation, which is open to all Robson residents, will be given by AASG members Tiffany Ramzy and Aasha Jones. Tiffany is the Head of Compliance and Risk for a global software development company where she oversees Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) compliance for an eCommerce platform. She holds an ISC2 certification in cybersecurity, as well as ISACA certifications for Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM). Aasha is an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Compliance Officer for a financial services company and holds numerous brokerage registrations, TX Life & Health Insurance, and financial crimes certifications (CFCS and CAMS).
Tiffany’s material will come from the Center for Cyber Safety and Education, the charitable foundation of ISC2, which is the world’s leading nonprofit member organization for cybersecurity professionals. The Center makes a difference in communities worldwide by educating the public on cyber safety practices.
Aasha’s material will come from her work experience, particularly from seeing what happens to victims of financial crimes.
The presentation will be held in the Boardroom of the Grill, from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday May 17.
