The Robson Ranch Women’s Club (RRWC) will host our monthly luncheon on Monday, Aug. 4. Doors open at 11 a.m., and lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. In August, Paula Wolfe with Pressley Design & Co. will provide Luxury Texas Living design ideas for our Robson Ranch homes.

The August buffet: Build your own pecan-crusted chicken salad: pecan-crusted chicken, mixed greens, black beans, roasted corn, shredded cheese, diced tomatoes, diced cucumber, honey mustard, ranch and balsamic dressing, garlic knots

Dessert: Chocolate cake with whipped cream

Luncheon checks are due by Monday, July 28, at 8 a.m. Deposit your $19 luncheon check in the Sports Center, Women’s Lounge, in the white mailbox. You can also pay for your luncheon by PayPal. Check the website at www.rrwomensclub.org. Remember, separate checks are required for annual membership and the monthly luncheon.

The charity for the August luncheon is Friends of the Family.

During the June luncheon, Donna DeBoever thanked Gayle Coe for preparing the slideshow for each month’s luncheon.

Donna and Chris Anderson introduced new members, first-time attendees, and guests. There were 11 individuals introduced. During the meeting, we learned that, as of the meeting, we had more than 481 members.

In Shirley’s absence, Lisa Olsen celebrated the June birthdays. The drawing for the birthday card, lunch certificate, and lottery ticket was won by Nancy Caldwell.

Community Outreach thanks everyone who participated in the Snack Pack Project.

Donna reminded members that the Women’s Club has a Facebook page and encouraged members to like and follow us. Also visit the Women’s Club website. Both sites are up to date with the most current information.

Debbie Deverich announced that the July luncheon entertainment will be a trio reminiscent of the Andrews Sisters singing patriotic songs.

Debbie introduced Nathan, the announcer for the group, and four female stand-up comedians. Everyone had a great time! The winner of the drawing for the two tickets ($70 value) to “4-Day Weekend” was Marion Cosman.
