It was a very warm, mid-May morning when women from Fellowship At The Ranch Church women’s group toured the Israel Prayer Garden in Corinth. This unique and beautiful garden is located at the Glory of Zion Global Spheres Center.
The women were privileged to have a guided tour of the stunning gardens by one of the Master Gardeners on staff, Christopher Davidson. Christopher did an excellent job of explaining the layout of the gardens according to the Twelve Tribes of Israel, giving both a lesson in Jewish history and tradition, as well as sharing his knowledge of the flowers, shrubs, and trees in the garden. He had a captivated audience as he shared the biblical aspects of the garden and the thought behind the planting of the foliage to fit each section of the garden. Currently, the grounds at Global Spheres Center include a community vegetable garden, a vineyard (complete with a replica of an ancient winepress), a blackberry patch, a lavender field, fruit orchards, the beginnings of an agroforest, four thematic prayer “watch” gardens, and a barnyard area for the resident ducks, chickens, and goats.
The prayer garden is open every day, and there is no charge for attendance. It was a wonderfully peaceful setting for the ladies to walk through, and they enjoyed the many plants, trees, and shrubs that were available to us.
We invite you to attend our Worship Service in the Robson Ranch clubhouse on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. You are encouraged to come early (10 a.m.) for our Coffee Meet & Greet. For more information about the church, please visit our website at www.FellowshipAtTheRanchChurch.com.
