The house band (host) for the July meeting of the Rock & Roll Martini Group was Monica Bishop and Shanan Koschak. It was the first-ever Rock & Roll Martini Group of Robson Ranch “Redneck” pool party.
Rockers (members) and guests showed up in their best “redneck” attire. Cowboy boots, ankle monitors, beer belts, cowboy hats, and crazy T-shirts were certainly the attire for the evening. Monica and Shanan rolled out pulled pork with Hawaiian buns. Everyone else filled in with an assortment of appetizers and desserts. The martinis for the evening were “Redneck Motha Moonshine” and “Texastinis.” Music was, of course, The Kentucky Headhunters and other various country rock bands.
After everyone enjoyed the smorgasbord, the rednecks entered the pool with drinks in hand. (Sorry, about the visual, neighbors!) The evening was perfect, with sunshine and warm temperatures.
No glass doors or screen doors were harmed during the party. Until next month, Rock on!
