The Photo Club general session meeting was held on Aug. 18 in the Creative Arts and Technology Center (CATC), Room 104 (Blue Bonnet Room), at 7 p.m. This meeting was open to all Robson Ranch residents.
There was an excellent main program by club member Frank Barnhart who presented images from a recent photographic field trip to the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge and the Holy City of the Wichitas.
Frank is new to Texas, having moved here from Idaho, and he enjoys exploring the area and finding new photographic opportunities. His presentation included comparisons between unretouched SOOC (straight out of camera) images with those post-processed with Adobe’s Lightroom and Photoshop software programs. The presentation was both an enjoyable and learning experience!
There was much interaction by the attendees in regards to camera capture device and software settings used to process the presentation images.
We also reviewed results from individual club member entries for the July “Motion” monthly image contest.
More information about the Photo Club can be found on the club’s website at rrphotoclub.org, or contact Frank Barnhart by email at fstop76207@gmail.com.
We hope to see everyone at our Monday, Sept. 15, meeting which will feature our own photographers’ images as the Show & Tell main program.
