The Women’s Club will host our next monthly luncheon on Monday, Dec. 1. Doors open at 11 a.m., and lunch is served at 11:20 a.m. Hilltop Elementary School music students will spread holiday joy with us in December! Led by their teacher Bonnie Barkley, they will sing us into the holiday spirit.

The December buffet: Herbed and roasted chicken breast, lemon caper sauce, roasted potatoes, winter Cobb salad with ranch and balsamic vinaigrette, rolls with butter, and red velvet cake with Christmas sprinkles

Luncheon checks are due by Monday, Nov. 24, at 8 a.m. Deposit your $19 luncheon check in the Sports Center, Women’s Lounge, in the white mailbox. You can also pay for your luncheon by PayPal. Check the website at www.rrwomensclub.org.

The charity for the November luncheon is Journey to Dream.

For the September meeting, Chris Anderson and Sally Wasson introduced new members, first-time attendees, and guests. There were eight individuals introduced. During the meeting, we learned that as of the meeting, we had 522 members. Chris reminded members that separate checks are required for annual membership ($20) and the monthly luncheon ($19). Some members have already paid dues for 2026, which is fine, but checks will not be deposited until January.

Shirley Monge celebrated the October birthdays. The drawing for the birthday card, lunch certificate, and lottery ticket was won by Cathy Reiser.

Lisa Olsen is heading up the Nominating Committee for 2026 board positions. Lisa and her committee were recognized at the luncheon.

Presentation of 2026 Nominees:

Lorie Stockton: President-Elect

Deborah Deverich: VP Programs

Sallie Wasson: VP Membership

Nancy Nix: Treasurer

Linda Bragg: Secretary

Sandra Mankowich: Parliamentarian

Candace Anderson: Luncheon Coordinator

Elections will occur during the November meeting, and nominations from the floor will be accepted.

Lorie Stockton provided an update on the Holiday Market, which was held on Oct. 18. The winner from the raffle ticket sales for the one free lunch each month in 2026 was Vickie Rawls. Judy Martin did a great job obtaining raffle items for the show.

Lorie advised that the Holiday Home Tour will be on Dec. 7 from 3 to 7 p.m. There will be six new homes.

Gayle Lee remarked what a loving, wonderful community we live in, and she is “Thankful and Grateful” to live here. This will be the theme for our next Social on Nov. 23 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Wildhorse Grill. There is no charge, and all Robson women are welcome. No RSVP is needed.

Chris reminded members that the Women’s Club has a Facebook page (Robson Ranch Women’s Club) and encouraged members to like and follow us. Also visit the Women’s Club website at www.rrwomensclub.org. Both sites are up to date with the most current information.

Debbie Deverich was the moderator for the Fall Fashion Show, with Chico’s of Highland Village featuring “A Day in the Life of a Robson Woman.” There were many outfits with deep, luxurious, jeweled tones. Chico’s announced after the show that they would be offering a 40% discount for purchases made after the show for Robson women.
