Halloween came early when the Sassy Stampers met on Oct. 18 to make a Halloween-themed card. This card was taught to club members by April Bayne. A smaller attendance gave us the time to get to know some who were new to the club or those we had not had the chance to get to know previously.
Our business meeting began, and we were told by our treasurer Mickey Grames that our club has a satisfactory balance in our account. Our Christmas Party will be on Dec. 13, and checks or cash are to be given to Mickey by Nov. 20. Since the clubhouse will need a final count, no late payments will be accepted. A request was made for volunteers to decorate a table with a Christmas centerpiece. Our window display is, as always, a work of art by April and Jean. Please take a look at the wonderful and creative cards that were made by our members.
The card assembly was straightforward, since most of the cutting had been prepared ahead of time. We glued, colored, stamped, and folded a cute little cut-out ghost, with the addition of a spider and bats. Some lucky child will be delighted when receiving it.
