Voices United held a Meet and Greet for interested ladies of Robson Ranch on Feb. 19 to introduce them to the club. Voices United is a non-partisan group of Robson Ranch women who share progressive values, perform community outreach, provide civic awareness and social contact for members, and have a good time!
We have a monthly luncheon meeting on the first Saturday of the month in the clubhouse. The meeting features speakers from our community who keep us informed on many subjects. Voices also has lots of fun and interesting activities.
The Social Committee has movie outings, visits to museums, parties, and other events. The Diversity in Action Committee holds activities which broaden our understanding and support for diverse peoples and cultures. The Civic Action Committee keeps us up to date on current events and also holds non-partisan voter registration in the clubhouse. Other committees include the Caring Committee, which provides help to members who are going through difficult times, and the Community Outreach Committee, which brings in speakers and provides opportunities for service/charity activities for the membership. We also play bunco and have discussion groups. Voices has many opportunities for its members to learn, socialize, and give back to the community.
For more information about Voices United, go to www.voicesunitedrr.org. We’re a 501(c)(3) group. Our annual dues are $25.
