On March 21 the Big Swing’n Band Club hosted the Young At Heart Big Band. The seventeen-piece band directed by Charlie Hackett provided big band dance music for a well-attended event. The dancers filled the floor showing off their dancing skills. Bert Zeitlin filled in the intermission with some Line Dancing music for the line dancers.

The Club’s next event is Saturday, May 9. This event will be the “Spring into Summer Dance”. Doors will open 5:30 p.m. with Ballroom Dance instruction provided by Nick Jacobs from 5:45 to 6:15 p.m. The dance starts at 6:30 p.m. Music will be provided by the Robson Ranch Big Swing’n Band, featuring vocalist Michele Brant and Tim McCormick. The band is comprised of 21 members that will entertain dancers and listeners with a setlist that includes arrangements from the big band era, as well as more recent contemporary tunes.

Tickets are $20 each. They will go on sale Monday, Wednesday, and Friday starting April 27 through May 6. Sales will be in the Clubhouse foyer 9 to 11 a.m. Tickets will also be on sale the night of the dance.

The dance will be at the Robson Ranch Clubhouse Ballroom. An open dance floor, open table seating and a cash bar will be available. The club can also accommodate reserving a table for 8 or 10 persons for your group. Please let the ticket seller know when purchasing your tickets.

Tickets are also available to purchase via Zelle and Venmo. Visit the Club’s Facebook site for the respective QR barcode. Tickets will be held at the will call table the night of the dance.
