Did that get your attention? I hope so, but if it didn’t, maybe “free lunch” will. The Robson Men’s Bible Study is inviting anyone in our community—that includes ladies—to attend either or both of two upcoming events we have planned.
On Monday, July 27, Jeremy Adams, the founder of Denton Freedom House, will talk about Christianity among other faiths and give a status report on Christian church planting he is doing now, primarily in South Asia, as well as training people in the USA to go to that area. The meeting will be held in the Lone Star room of the clubhouse at 10:30 a.m. A complimentary lunch will be served around noon. Part two of Jeremy’s talk will start after lunch and continue until 1:30 p.m. Attendees will have an opportunity to offer financial support to Jeremy’s missionary work. Registration for this meeting is required and must be done by July 20. (See below.)
On Saturday, August 1, Robson resident Dr. David Vanderpool will speak at a 7:30 a.m. meeting in the Clubhouse with complimentary coffee and donuts. This meeting will also be open to men, their wives, friends, and neighbors. Dr. Vanderpool spends much of his time at medical outposts and delivers the Gospel to people in Haiti, the West Bank and Gaza, and India. He has authored several books including Live Beyond: A Radical Call to Surrender and Serve. Registration for this meeting is required and space is limited. We must have your registration by July 27.
There are two ways to register for these meetings. The preferred method is to visit our website at robsonmensbiblestudy.weebly.com. Click on Events on the top menu or either of the Events listed on the main menu. The alternate method is to text the names of attendees and their contact information to 214-763-2871. Be sure to mention which event you are registering to attend.
