The house band (host) for the July meeting of the Rock and Roll Martini Group was Monica Bishop. This annual pool party was timed perfectly with temperatures in the triple digits. With summer pool music blasting, Rockers (members) and guests filled the pool. Everyone was wearing their best beach attire. The martini for the evening was the famous “Margarini” which was full octane. Monica rolled out trays of different flavors of chicken wings. Everyone pitched in and added appetizers and desserts to fill out the feast. A surprise appearance of Rock and Roll Martini Group Hall of Fame members was Julie and Deats Stewart. No screen doors or martini glasses were harmed during the party. Until next month, Rock On!
