4th of July Parade

Members of the Pilot Knob Rotary Club decorated their golf carts and got out the club banner to participate in the RR 4th of July Parade. Both the carts and the club members and their spouses were decked out in red, white and blue and enjoyed the beautiful weather and the enthusiastic crowd.
Pilot Knob Rotary Club is a group of experienced professional leaders committed to service and fellowship leading to a positive impact on our community and the world. We meet each Friday at noon in the Wildhorse Grill.

Pilot Knob Rotary Club Names Rotarian of the Year: Wes Shipley

Each year local Rotary clubs can recognize one of their members as Rotarian of the Year. This award is given annually to a member who stands out in demonstrating “Service Above Self” and a principled commitment to the Rotary Four-Way Test. It honors an outstanding club member who has made significant contributions to the club’s mission, operations, and community or international service.
At the June 26 Installation of 2026-27 Officers and Directors, Wes Shipley was named Pilot Knob Rotary Club Rotarian of the Year. Wes joined Pilot Knob Rotary in February 2024, transferring from the Rotary Club in Beaumont Texas. He has served as President-Elect, Rotary Foundation Chair, and was installed as the 2026-27 Club President. Wes and his wife Kathleen enjoy Pickleball, meeting their new neighbors, and Wes plays in his church band and at Rotary events.
