What happens when everything you depend on suddenly changes? How do you keep moving forward when you face the loss of wealth, health, or personal freedoms? Join Women Sharing Hope as three speakers share powerful testimonies of faith, perseverance, and God’s provision during some of life’s most difficult challenges.
Loss of Wealth
Imagine having a successful business, multiple homes, land, and financial security, only to lose it all. 60 million, five houses… everything. Dale and Linda Behan experienced exactly that. After a series of devastating legal and business setbacks, they found themselves homeless and living in an RV. Eventually, they lost even that.
Yet despite losing nearly everything they owned, Dale and Linda discovered that their greatest treasure could never be taken away. Come hear how God provided for them in unexpected ways and how their faith remained strong through circumstances that would have shaken many people.
Loss of Health
Tim Johnson, husband of LaDonna Gatlin Johnson, spent years performing music and enjoying a successful career. But his life took a dramatic turn when serious health issues began. Over the years, he faced multiple medical challenges, including testicular cancer and a difficult battle with COVID.
Then came the diagnosis no one wants to hear: pancreatic cancer, a disease with a very low survival rate.
Today, Tim is still playing the piano and sharing his story. Join us as he explains how his faith sustained him through uncertainty, fear, and illness. Tim’s life verse, Psalm 62:2, reminds him that God is his rock, salvation, and stronghold. Come hear why those words continue to guide him today.
Loss of Freedoms
Can faith be freely expressed in today’s culture? Richard Penkoski Jr., a U.S. Navy veteran and father of seven, along with David Grisham, a retired Department of Energy security officer, have spent years publicly sharing the Gospel. Their experiences have raised important questions about free speech, religious expression, and the challenges Christians may face in modern society.
Richard and David will share their personal experiences, discuss why they continue their ministry work, and answer questions from attendees during a Q&A session following the program.
A love offering would be appreciated to help support Richard and David’s travel expenses.
Join us for an inspiring morning as we hear how ordinary people have navigated extraordinary losses while holding firmly to their faith. Their stories remind us that even when circumstances change, God remains faithful.
