You are invited to attend a Seminar on Oct. 8 from 9 a.m. to noon in the Robson Ranch Clubhouse. Dr. Drake Torp-Pedersen will be presenting A Biblical Understanding of World Religions. You may remember Dr. Torp-Pedersen from his Prophecy Seminar last year, Are We Approaching the End Times? According to Dr. Torp-Pedersen, “Countless religions can be found around the world, and we meet many of them right here in our area. How should a Christian respond to these religions and what should we think about their teachings? This seminar will summarize the teachings of five religions and give a brief biblical evaluation of each of them. The religions to be discussed are: Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Mormonism, and Jehovah’s Witnesses.”
Dr. Torp-Pedersen is an expert on the Bible. He has taught courses and seminars nationally and internationally at college and graduate schools for over 35 years.
Cost: $10 includes registration, materials, coffee, and snacks.
