Members of the Robson Ranch International Club celebrate an early Thanksgiving.

The Robson Ranch International Club held its November meeting on Saturday, November 21, at Annelise Guyer’s home. The members celebrated an early Thanksgiving Day. We had the highest attendance at this meeting. The members enjoyed the Thanksgiving feast with turkey and all its trimmings, great salads and desserts.
We welcomed our new members who joined the club this year. They are Loren and Lenie Christensen from Netherlands, Wayne and Erna Seale from Germany, Sigrid and Baeumler from Germany, Maria Isabel Skinner from Portugal, and Stella and Ken Smith from Great Britain and Colombia.
When I started the International Club in 2006 we had only a handful of members. At that time the club consisted of mainly women, and on special occasions such as Christmas and Thanksgiving we would invite the men. After a few years we welcomed male members to our club on a regular basis. I am pleased that our membership has grown, and now we have members from all over the world. Our members come from Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Columbia, Denmark, Ecuador, Egypt, France, Germany, Great Britain, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Portugal and South Africa.
We generally meet on the third Thursday of the month, but on occasions such as Thanksgiving and Christmas we may change our day and dates. Therefore, our December meeting was held early in the month at a Thai Restaurant.
Robson Ranch continues to grow, and we welcome new members who qualify to join our club.
