Your Robson Ranch Jazz Club presents Southlake Swing Band on Sunday, Sept. 25, from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Robson Ranch clubhouse ballroom. Tickets are $10, most of which goes to the performing band, and we will have a cash bar.
The Southlake Swing Band will make its first appearance here at Robson Ranch for a Sunday afternoon Big Band concert, providing music for your dancing and listening pleasure!
Southlake Swing Band is a true Big Band with trumpets, saxes, trombones, and rhythm sections. The band has been entertaining audiences around Southlake for over 20 years. They will be playing old standards, as well as some modern rock, pop, and well-known “crooner” songs.
This is the third in the Jazz Club’s series of Big Band concerts this year. The Gainesville Swing Orchestra and the Keller Area Youth Jazz Orchestra have already performed earlier this year. On Oct. 16, we will be featuring the famous Pecos River Brass, followed by the Young at Heart band on Nov. 27. On New Year’s Eve eve, Dec. 30, we wrap up the year with a reprise of the Keller Area Youth Jazz Orchestra!
Tickets will be sold at the clubhouse foyer on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 to 11 a.m. The dates we will be selling tickets are as follows: Sept. 7, 9, 12, 14, 16, 19, and 21.
