Another exciting month for the Robson Ranch Photo Club

Michael Waterhouse

This month our members had the opportunity to display some of their outstanding prints in the Robson Ranch Clubhouse. The quality of the work presented was excellent and we received lots of positive feedback. Our monthly meeting was also outstanding. We had an enjoyable presentation from the general manager of Fort Worth Camera, MacKenzie Hughes, who told us about new camera equipment, the future of photo gear and travel photography. MacKenzie also stressed the fact that we need to loosen up, try something new and expand our boundaries in photography. Our June meeting program is titled “Show and Tell, Wow the Judges”, where our members who are present will get to be the judges. We continue to have our monthly workshops where everyone is invited to improve their skills in photography.

The photo Cherry Blossoms in D.C. won first place in the Masters category this month. It was taken by Rhonda Pummill. Rhonda gave us an excellent presentation on Getting Started with Lightroom” earlier this month.

Check out our website, rrphotoclub.org, to see what we are up to next and please feel free to drop in to any of our meetings or workshops to see what we are all about. You are all welcome to attend.
