Rhett Hubbard and Jeremy Trietsch from the Wildhorse Grill went out of their way to make a special Back the Blue lunch at Robson Ranch. Nearly a full house packed the Grill to honor two police officers from the Denton Police Department.

Don Duff opened the lunch with an update from City Council on news of additional police officers being hired by the city without any increase in taxes.

Officer David Acrey and Officer Victor Casiano were chosen by the police department to be honored and represent other officers from Denton. The police department could not have picked finer officers for Robson to honor. Police officers work nights, weekends, holidays, in heat, snow, rain and wearing a camera that watches every second of their day. Police officers sacrifice so much for us, and we cannot do enough to honor them. During lunch and after, all attending made a special effort to shake the hands of the officers and thank them for their service.
