As Emily Bronte wrote, “Every leaf speaks bliss to me, fluttering from the Autumn tree.” Come share a meal with Republican Club ladies and hear about “FALL-ing” in zero gravity from former NASA Aerospace Engineer, Astronaut Crew Instructor, USAF medical test subject, space shuttle Flight Integration Manager, International Space Station and Payload Safety Panel Executive Officer, and Robson resident Ann Patterson! Ann had a remarkable career and will regale us with stories of her experiences.
The luncheon will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 26, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the Patriot/Legacy Room. Our menu will include butternut squash bisque, crusty rolls, autumn salad with maple vinaigrette and grilled chicken on the side, iced tea, and water. There will be festive fall cupcakes for dessert!
If you attended the spring luncheon, you know that it was an enjoyable event with delightful table décor and a wonderful opportunity to make new friends. If you didn’t, come find out what you missed! We have some fun surprises in store for you!
Checks for $22 made out to RR Republican Club can be turned in at the Liberty Belles table at the Sept. 6 Republican Club meeting, or dropped off at the home of Jeanette Bliss at 12104 Willet Way or Jan Brefczynski at 9629 Colbert Cove, by Sept. 20. We will also have a table in the clubhouse hall from 9 to 11 a.m. on Aug. 21 and 23 and Sept. 18 and 20. You, too, can be a Belle of the Fall!
