Get ready for the sound of bocce balls rolling, teammates cheering and plenty of friendly competition because Robson Ranch Bocce is back! The Fall 2026 season begins the week of Sept. 14, and once again, the Bocce Courts will be one of the busiest—and most spirited—places in Robson Ranch.
This fall, more than 2,000 players will take to the courts, representing 182 teams competing in 23 divisions during the 10-week season. With that many players, there will rarely be a quiet moment at the Bocce Courts!
League play will take place five days a week, with matches scheduled at 2 p.m., 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. And this season brings something new to the schedule: two divisions will take to the courts at 10 a.m. These new morning divisions add even more opportunities for members to enjoy the game—and perhaps a little cooler Texas weather!
Of course, a new season deserves courts that are ready for all that action, and thanks to Rhett Hubbard, the HOA and the maintenance team, players will return to several important improvements.
Courts 3 through 8 now have access gates at both ends, making it easier to enter the courts and assist with water removal when necessary. Additional weep holes have also been added to improve drainage—something every bocce player knows can make a big difference after one of our Texas downpours.
All eight courts have also received some much-needed attention. They have been cleaned, re-sanded and rolled flat again, preparing the playing surfaces for thousands of games over the coming months. Court numbers and striping are also being refreshed, giving the entire complex a fresh look just in time for opening week.
Look up and you will notice another improvement. Rain gutters and downspouts have been installed on the Ramada to help control water runoff from the roof. Their placement can be adjusted if necessary, but Mother Nature now needs to cooperate and send a little rain so the new system can be put to the test. After that—she is welcome to turn the rain back off once league play begins!
Behind the scenes, the Bocce Club Board, committees, commissioners, Sottocapos, and Capos have been busy preparing schedules, organizing divisions, updating rosters, and getting everything ready for another successful season.
With 23 divisions, 182 teams, more than 2,000 players and 10 weeks of competition, Fall 2026 promises plenty of great shots, close matches, laughter, camaraderie, and maybe even a few lucky bounces.
So, polish up those bocce balls, gather your teammates and get ready.
The courts are ready. The teams are ready. Robson Ranch is ready. Let the Fall Bocce Season begin!
