Calling All Frog Fans! TCU ‘Go Frogs’ Club Announces Game-Watching Party

Tim Lucas (‘78)

Now that Horned Frog football season is officially underway, it’s time for the Robson Frog-faithful to gather.

Our kickoff event will be a game-watching party on Saturday, Sept. 21, when the Frogs take on the crosstown rival SMU Mustangs in the “Battle for the Iron Skillet.” Because this rivalry isn’t scheduled beyond next season, this year’s game holds added incentive.

Blake (‘85) and Teresa Prewit, our founders and respective president and vice president, will host this season’s first event. We’ll meet at their home at 12500 Theralite Way on gameday at 3:30 p.m. for the 4 p.m. kick.

The Prewits will provide beer and water for everyone. BYOB or anything else you want to drink. Attendees are simply asked to bring their favorite shareable main dish (no frog legs, please), side dish, or dessert. If it’s anything like last season’s gatherings, it will be a veritable feast!

RSVP your attendance to Teresa at [email protected] so the Prewits can prepare for us. Also, if you’re new and would like to join our club and get on our email list, simply send your contact info to Teresa.

We hope to see lots of new and familiar Horned Frog fans sporting their purple gameday apparel as we celebrate another glorious Horned Frog victory. Until then …

Riff, ram, bah, zoo!

Lickety, lickety, zoo, zoo!
