The Robson Ranch Catholic Club met on October 9 at 7:00 p.m. in the home of Irene and Alex Manning. About 20 members were in attendance.
Our guest speaker was Diane Schwind, a wife of 31 years, a mother of four and a grandmother of five. She and her husband co-direct Balanced Families Ministries, a marriage and family apostolate in the Diocese of Fort Worth. They have been working with marriage preparation and marriage enrichment through retreats, conferences and classes for ten years. Diane also speaks on the dignity of women sharing the truth of genuine femininity. She has earned a Bachelor’s degree in Theology and a Master’s degree in Marriage & Family Theology. As a convert to the Catholic faith, she believes the Catholic faith has been her greatest blessing. Diane spoke to the group about the story of Our Lady of Fatima. Her talk was very detailed and interesting. You could have heard a pin drop in the room while Diane spoke.
As always there was time before and after Diane’s talk for food and fellowship. It was an inspiring evening for everyone in attendance. Our next meeting will be on November 13 at the home of Rita and Brett Paxton. All are welcome!
