A beautiful October day brought the Rockin’ Red Ranchers to the Kimbell Art Museum in Ft. Worth for a docent led tour of the new Balenciaga in Black exhibit. The group learned firsthand how the famous fashion designer created styles worn by wealthy women all over the world. The exhibit included dresses and accessories from various stages of Balenciaga’s design career. The garments were quite valuable so they were enclosed in clear cases. Clear cases permitted viewing all sides of the garments. After the fun and educational tour, the group enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Kimbell’s restaurant and the opportunity to view other art exhibits in the museum.
