Members of the Kiln Krafters began a new outreach program in May. Their intention was to give the residents of The Vintage Residential Home in Denton a good time and to let them experience painting their own ceramic piece, which they could keep and display in their homes. A group of members went well equipped with smiles, unpainted pottery, paints and brushes. The eager residents chose the item they wanted to paint, and the fun began! We had red snowmen and blue mice among other things. They all took great care in creating their finished work and were proud to take them home. The team returned later in the week to do the same with the Assisted Living residents. A great time was had by all. The intention is to revisit the home again later in the year with seasonal items for the residents to paint.

RR Kiln Krafters welcomes anyone who would like to join the club. There is no previous experience needed, and you will be shown all you need to know to make your own creations.
