Frances Hackley, Publicity Chair
The Robson Ranch Choir always has a special affinity for the Veterans Day Concert they perform in on Veterans Day each year. This year is no exception. Especially with it being an election year, we are reminded how incredibly special it is to indeed live in the “land of the free and the brave.” Many members of our choir have served in the armed forces, and Robson has about 600 veterans in residence. The concerts here are always moving, poignant, uplifting, and, most of all, heartfelt by all performing and attending.
Soon after the Veterans Day Concerts end, the choir is back at rehearsal preparing for their Christmas at the Ranch Concerts. Concerts will be on Dec. 17 at 7 p.m., and Dec. 18 at 4 p.m. This is a wonderful way to enjoy the songs of the season with family and friends. Come hear holiday favorites such as “Happy Holidays/White Christmas,” “I’ll Be Home for Christmas,” and “Joy to the World.” Reminding us all of the reason for the season, you will relish and delight in the song “When a Child Is Born.” The choir will also perform a profoundly beautiful version of “Silent Night,” which will leave you speechless.
Listening to Christmas music is always a serenely, satisfyingly, wonderful part of the Christmas season. Here at the Ranch, the choir delights in performing this music for you, your neighbors, your friends, and your families. Please do join us for this very joyous occasion.
Tickets will be on sale beginning Nov. 28 in the lobby of the clubhouse from 9 to 11 a.m., every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, through Dec. 16. Tickets are $15. Tickets at the door will be $17. Tickets will also be available on PayPal for $16 from Nov. 28 through Dec. 15 via our website, rrmusicclub.com.
