The 18-hole championship course features strategically placed bunkers and hazards that present an enjoyable challenge for novices as well as avid golfers.
In addition to the course you will find opportunities where professional staff at the Lone Star Golf Academy will help you learn to play, improve your game and polish your skills to lower your handicap. There is a driving range and putting green for practice and a pro shop that has what you need for a quality golf experience. Golf at Robson Ranch has something for all residents. There are five sets of tees that offer golf at different proficiency levels. You can enjoy everything from championship level golf to reduced challenge golf for beginners and senior players. There are buddies that will be more than happy to help you navigate the course making it enjoyable and best of all not intimidating for any skill level.
One of the best qualities of Robson Ranch is its people, and that is no exception when it comes to golf. There are four resident golf associations that provide scheduled weekly golf, social gatherings and excellent opportunities to meet new women and men neighbors. If you are a new resident, beginning golfer or experienced golfer and would like to try out the course for the first time, we offer a buddy program to fit that need. Contact the pro shop and present this article when checking in. They will pair you with volunteers from one of the golf associations and your very first buddy program round will be “on the house.” This will give you the opportunity to see what tees fit you best, learn more about the benefits of annual memberships and other pricing schedules, and most important, receive a big Robson Ranch welcome to Wildhorse golf.
