Conservative Women of Action Attend Educational Events

Jan Brefczynski

Members of the Robson Ranch Conservative Women of Action (CWA) traveled to the Fort Worth Stockyards on Feb. 1 to participate in an all-day
educational event. Hosted by the Leadership Institute, an organization focused on creating conservative leaders through training and mentorship, the “Learn Right, Lead Right” Regional Summit featured lectures, panels, and breakout work sessions. Participants interacted with local school board trustees, professors, and even a state superintendent of education. The speakers covered policies and strategies for improving public education. Included in the resources provided to attendees was a fact sheet that contained disappointing information on the current declines in academic excellence, student performance, and standards. A highlight of the day was hearing swimmer Riley Gaines speak on “Protecting Girls’ Voices” regarding Title IX reform.

Earlier this year, CWA members attended a meeting of the True Texas Project to hear former immigration judge Eric Bales explain the intricacies of immigration court and how the asylum process works. Bales, who holds a Master of Laws with concentrations in Cybersecurity Law and Advanced Criminal Law from Texas A&M, shared his insights on key aspects of immigration law that impact Texas in general and North Texas in particular.

The members of the Conservative Women of Action are dedicated to both providing educational opportunities for the community and becoming more informed individuals themselves. We invite you to join us at upcoming events!
