Conservatives Club

Robson Ranch Conservatives Club had a busy month. On Feb. 17 we hosted Dinesh D’Souza’s Police State. We had ticket “sales” of 225, and most of those showed up. The subject was, as Dinesh said, “Not one he was wanting to do.” In fact he said he was “disturbed” that it had to be discussed.

Dinesh also introduced his son-in-law Brandon Gill who is running for the U.S. House District 26 seat.

Then just four days later, on Feb. 21, we had our regularly scheduled meeting of Robson Ranch Conservatives. Almost 110 people attended to hear Don Huffines. The former Texas State Senator (2015-2019) and former candidate for governor, Don is president of the Huffines Liberty Foundation. Their mission statement is “Advancing Liberty, Prosperity, and Virtue across Texas.” Don is a dynamic speaker and enlightened us to the goings-on in the Texas legislature.

He also talked about our greatest enemy: not China, not Russia, not Iran, but the cartel-controlled Mexican government. For more information, you can check out www.HuffinesLiberty.com.

Lacey Riley, who is running for the Denton County Republican Chair, gave us her insight into the priorities of the GOP. They are growing the party, holding elected officials accountable and cleaning up the voter rolls.

All are invited to attend the Robson Ranch Conservatives on the third Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. at the clubhouse. The next meeting is March 20 when Brady Gray, president of Texas Family Project, will discuss things such as transgender issues, school choice, and other issues that directly affect families.
