A romantic evening of music and dancing was had at the Dance Club’s Valentine Dinner Dance on February 7. The grill provided a gourmet buffet of chicken with mushroom sauce, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables and the piece de resistance, the lava cake.
The ballroom was decorated with hearts and flowers thanks to a great team: Donna Ross, Maureen Fitzgerald, Judy Ondina and Vicki Baker. Thanks, girls, for your creative efforts. Job well done!
The music was a great blend of love songs and fast dances by Flashback Entertainment who continually show us their many talents.
We sold 217 tickets, the most ever, so the dance was a huge success.
We hope you’ll all come back for the next dance, which is a 50s Sock Hop on April 10. The music will be provided by Freddie and the Falcons. Get out your poodle skirts, rolled up jeans, leather jackets, letter sweaters or whatever you wore in high school. It’s sure to be an evening of fun.
