State Representative Lynn Stucky is a member of the Champions Rotary Club and also represents Texas House District 64, which includes Denton, Krum, Corinth, Shady Shores, Hickory Creek, and Lake Dallas.

A native of rural Kansas, Dr. Lynn Stucky was raised on a farm with his five siblings. A proud graduate of Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kan., he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1979, followed by his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1983.

Shortly after graduating, Representative Stucky headed to Texas to find a place to begin practicing veterinary medicine. He stopped in Denton County and has never left. In 1986 he bought into veterinary practices in both Denton and Sanger, and in 1997 he opened the animal hospital on Milam Road.

The club learned a lot from Dr. Stucky’s talk and appreciates all of his encouraging remarks about our state’s governing process.

The Champions Rotary Club meets every Wednesday morning from 8 to 9 a.m. in the Mule Barn in Justin, Texas. You all come see us!
