Table Tennis classes return on Wednesday, Nov. 2.
Tom Taylor, a certified table tennis instructor, is again conducting Table Tennis classes for members of the Robson Ranch Table Tennis Club. The class sessions will be on Wednesdays from 12:10 p.m. until 2:10 p.m. (in 30-minute segments) starting on Wednesday, Nov. 2, and will last for six weeks (skipping a week for the Thanksgiving holiday).
This year’s training will be based on 30 minutes of one-on-one training with Tom on a topic of your choosing and is at no cost to our club’s members. The training topics to choose from are Backhand Serves, Forehand Serves, Backhand Stroke, Forehand Stroke, Push Stroke, or a set of training and techniques to which you and Tom agree. This means we have eight training slots available, since Tom will be using two tables for each 30-minute training session. The class sessions will be held in the Cimarron Sports Center Gym, and registered students will be assigned to one of the time slots, with an additional waitlist of students used to fill weekly session vacancies.
If you wish to take the class, you must sign up with Bill Cashin at [email protected] before Oct. 30.
Classes are limited to Robson Ranch Table Tennis Club members, but new members can join and take the classes.
Current table tennis play session schedule times are in the gym Monday and Wednesday from noon to 2:30 p.m., Friday from noon to 2 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to noon.
