First Christian Church of Denton is excited to welcome Rev. Kristin Galle as its new senior minister.
“I am delighted to be called to serve as pastor of First Christian Church,” said Rev. Galle. “Much of my experience in ministry has involved working with congregations going through transitions. I look forward to the journey with the church and the community as we spread the good news of God’s new, yet ancient, wisdom of abundant grace, life, and inclusive love.”
With a strong commitment to the scriptures, Rev. Galle will focus on church growth and service to children, youth, and young families, in her new position. Leadership, ecumenical work, and building a sense of church-community are among her special skills.
Rev. Galle received her bachelor’s degree from St. Edward’s University in Austin and her master’s degree from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. During her career, she has served twelve congregations in positions as interim senior minister, associate minister, and hospice chaplain and bereavement minister. Her experience also includes work in crisis care, children’s ICU, pulmonary care, addictions, and mental health.
