It was a bitterly cold night at Robson Ranch, but 300 loyal Trivia players braved the weather and came to the warm clubhouse! The excitement at the tables quickly heated up the evening as the teams competed to get the correct answers. It is very exciting to see the spirited competition while everyone has fun with their teams and neighbors! The Trivia Club awarded nearly $2,000 in prizes to individuals and entire tables. Prizes included gift cards to the Wildhorse Grill and Visa gift cards.
The top three winning teams were as follows: Quizzards took first place, with each member receiving a $50 gift card. Team Y’all Come Back Now earned second place, with each member receiving a $25 gift card. Team A Bottle in Front of Us was in third place, with each member receiving a $20 gift card.
Thanks to all the participants, a donation from this evening was made to Bob’s House of Hope in Argyle, one of the organizations that receive donations from these events. One hundred percent of the proceeds are donated to charities. Founded in 2021, Bob’s House of Hope, a program of Ranch Hands Rescue, operates as a comprehensive residential program and safe house for young adult, male-identifying survivors of sex trafficking. Ranch Hands Rescue also prevents the sex trafficking of males by providing trauma resolution to boys who have been sexually abused.

The Trivia Club, formed in 2022, continues with new officers for 2025. Volunteers from the Kiwanis Club of Robson Ranch support the Trivia Club to staff the program. Special recognition and thanks to Marci and Rance Malcom who worked to automate the scoring system and slideshow, making the game much more enjoyable.
