We are happy to announce that the September Yard of the Month goes to Kris and Tom Tarczon at 9933 Grandview. They are longtime residents of Robson Ranch. They did move to Colorado for a while but returned and bought an existing home, then remodeled it. What a task! They moved walls and created new inside and outside areas.
Kris has spent the past five years making the landscape her own. The first thing you will see is their row of red crape myrtles and the cozy front courtyard, complete with a fountain. In the backyard is an expansive patio and sunroom with adjacent jasmine and purple wisteria up to the roof! One can only imagine how beautiful it is in full bloom. Look for the Japanese red maple tucked carefully in the corner.
Tom created the Knudsen Farms herb garden to honor Kris’ family heritage. Tarragon and parsley should be well established by this printing. He is the chef, so I think he enjoys this gardening creativity. The backyard also boasts many succulents to view, but watch out for errant golf balls! She created and continues to recreate as our weather demands. Do stop by and visit. They will happily show you around.
Congratulations, Kris and Tom.
