As promised in my December article and with a delay due to being a little under the weather, the welcoming of The Happy Potters new friend was delayed. But without any further delay, say hello to our little friend “Skutt,” our new, front-loading kiln. Many, many thanks to Robson as well as those responsible for helping us get this much-needed piece of equipment purchased, set up and operational. The open door kiln will vastly improve safety, as well as make loading and unloading easier. Thank you to all who made this possible.

In January, the Happy Potters group hit the ground running with their new member orientation workshop. They spent several days teaching and training members to learn how to load and operate our new kiln.
