Happy Tails Dog Club is sponsoring a Facebook page for all dog-related information for Robson Ranch residents. The intent is to make this a dog page for everyone here at Robson Ranch, and anything dog related can be posted on the page: lost dogs, found dogs, dogs looking for homes, dogs dressed up, dogs doing cute things, dogs with their human companions, and just pictures of dogs being dogs! If you are interested in joining, please go to tinyurl.com/munx7run.

On Nov. 5 Happy Tails Dog Club held the 2022 Winter Holiday Mini Photo Sessions. This is the major fundraiser for the club, and it turned out great! Although we had a last-minute cancellation and a no-show, those who did make an appointment and showed up were very pleased with the results! We had such a great variety of wonderful dogs! From seven-month-old pups to 15-year oldies but goodies, from flat coats to furry coats, they came in all colors and sizes, with some dressed in holiday garb and others just au naturel! Such beautiful dogs, and the volunteers who worked at check-in and in the photobooth were able to pet and love on all of them. With 35 dogs, it was a busy but fun time, and the pet photos turned out great—thanks to photographer extraordinaire Donna Steibel.

Our first official meeting of 2023 will be held on Saturday, Jan. 14, at 10:30 a.m. in Room 103 of the CATC building. Our guest speaker will be Dr. William Gengler, DVM, DAVDC. Dr. Bill Gengler is a board-certified veterinary dentist, and he received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and his Master of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees from the University of Missouri – Columbia. He is a Diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College and has 26 years of experience in general small animal practice and over 20 years of experience in dental specialty practice. Dr. Gengler is a Robson resident and shares his home with his constant companion Lolly, an incredibly sweet little rescue dog.

The Happy Tails Dog Club website www.rrhappytailsdogclub.weebly.com is a great resource for all dog owners. We thought it would be helpful to create a page for pet owners who may be searching for a local vet, groomer, mobile nail trimmer, pet boarder, dog sitter—anything dog related!
