The saying goes “You have to kiss a lot of frogs to find a Prince.” And that’s just what happened as the Mamas and the Props took to the stage at Karaoke Dance Night on August 21 performing The Turtles number one hit of 1967, Happy Together. Dressed in sunshine yellow colored T-shirts emblazoned with a smiley face, the musical troupe serenaded in full harmony to the fairy tale of the Princess and the Frog.

The Frog, completely head over heels in love with the Princess, imagines the two of them living happily ever after. But the Frog’s love goes unnoticed by the Princess, and his feelings are not returned in kind. The Frog would do anything to get the Princess to love him. So they dance and dance and dance the night away to the music of DJ Bill Cody. The Princess too longs for true love and unexpectedly kisses the Frog who is suddenly transformed into a handsome Prince, discovering they are “Happy Together!!”

Stories of magic and monsters, handsome princes and damsels in distress fairy tales capture the imagination, opening your mind to the wildest of possibilities. Remember fantasy has no limitations in life. Life is what you make it. You are the author of your own life story; make it a fairy tale come true.
