Fifteen Rockin’ Red Rancher ladies ventured forth to the historic Denton Bayless Selby House Museum in the Denton County Historical Park, to enjoy a traditional High Tea and listen to a presentation about customs and history of the house. It was built in 1898, The Queen Anne style house depicts life in Denton before 1908. The very substantial tea included sandwiches, savory and sweet baked goods, all elegantly presented with period china and linens. After tea, a tour of the house was given. Everyone learned about the era and enjoyed the food and hearing about the origins of High Tea. Thank you to the Rockin’ Red Ranchers Joyce Ambre and Joyce Fry who planned this delightful High Tea!
