One of our two current elected resident board members has a term expiring at the end of 2026. This gives you an opportunity to volunteer your time in service to our HOA and share the fiduciary and governing responsibilities. Think it over; if you decide to run for the open Resident Director spot, turn your packet in at the HOA office no later than Sept. 15.
The Robson Ranch Denton Homeowners Association, Inc., (HOA) is governed by a five-person Board of Directors. Two of the directors are elected by HOA members (homeowners). Each elected director serves a two-year term, and the term of each is staggered so that each year the HOA conducts an election for one of the Resident Director positions.
The election process began in late August with those desiring to serve declaring their candidacy. The results of the 2026 election will be announced at the HOA Annual Meeting on Thursday, Nov. 5.
Candidates are self-nominated and must be HOA members (homeowners). Members of the same household cannot serve on the Board at the same time. Self-nomination packets are currently available in the HOA office in the Clubhouse, and the completed packet must be completed and returned to the HOA office by 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 15.
The Election Committee has scheduled a Meet the Candidate Forum on Tuesday, Sept. 29, at 1 p.m. in the Clubhouse. This will give everyone an opportunity to hear the candidates speak before voting. E-ballots will be electronically available for voting from 8 a.m. on Sept. 30 until 5 p.m. on Nov. 2. Paper ballots may be picked up at the HOA office during regular hours Monday to Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., beginning Sept. 30. Paper ballots must be returned to the HOA office in the clubhouse no later than 4 p.m., Monday, Nov. 2.
