HOA Board recognizes the Living Well Committee

Dave Parker

This month the HOA Board of Directors would like to feature another hard-working committee at Robson Ranch, the Living Well Committee. The Living Well Committee offers events, speakers and activities to enlighten and advance healthy lifestyles at Robson Ranch. Each committee member has a passion about health and passing it on to fellow residents. The committee sponsors and coordinates the Friday morning Farmers Market. Healthy food and produce are offered weekly in the convenience of the clubhouse parking lot. On the first Thursday of each month, the committee sponsors blood pressure checks. Adult Health Services performs the blood pressure checks free-of-charge, so watch for announcements in the HOA email and have it checked regularly. The Living Well Committee sponsors monthly educational seminars at the clubhouse. Past informative topics have included back pain and women’s and men’s health. The seminars are also free and very informative. The committee sponsors the annual Health Fair held in the clubhouse. This year 101 vendors were in attendance with products or services to help residents to live a healthy, active lifestyle. Looking for some exercise? Join in the monthly walkabout, the annual July 4th walk/run and the annual Turkey Trot in November. The Living Well Committee coordinates the popular and highly attended Robson Olympics. The Olympics features almost any event you can imagine so everyone can participate. The Robson Box Gardens are available to all residents for a small fee. You can grow your own healthy vegetables and food and see the fruits of your labor. If you have an interest in volunteering for service on the committee, simply fill out a Committee Volunteer Form available at the HOA office or contact Committee Chair Joyce Frey at [email protected]. The Living Well Committee provides incredible opportunities for a healthy lifestyle at Robson Ranch.
