Marilyn Louise Hayes
Marilyn Louise Hayes, 76, formerly Marilyn MacIntire, nee Marilyn Marsh, passed away on July 5, 2024, in Boca Raton, Fla. She was born in East Stroudsburg in 1947 and grew up there, eventually marrying Bruce MacIntire and having two children. Marilyn graduated from East Stroudsburg University and became a teacher at J.M. Hill Elementary School where she touched many lives over the nearly three decades of her career. Whenever possible, she spent time traveling, visiting many beautiful places over the course of her life. Upon retirement, she became a resident of Denton, Texas, and lately of Parkland, Fla.
Marilyn was predeceased by husband Bruce MacIntire and second husband Weldon (Glenn) Hayes. She is survived by her two children: Michael Stuart MacIntire (Susan) of Gulfport, Fla., and Dr. Alicia MacIntire-Cain (Daiman) of Boca Raton, Fla., and grandchildren: Devin MacIntire and Jack Helms, Orion and Savannah Cain, Jake and Max Hayes, and Cody and Tate Luna.
A service will be held at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery on Oct. 4, 2024, at 11:15 a.m.
