It Was Inspirational!

September 19 is the day members of Fellowship At The Ranch Church will remember for a long time. Saturday morning began with 23 members gathering at the Clubhouse to wait for our bus to take us to Willow Park. None of us could even imagine what we would experience there! There was quiet fellowship during the hour-long bus trip. Then we arrived at Willow Park Baptist Church for the matinee performance of The Promise.

The Promise is a three and one half hour performance depicting the life of Jesus. From the prophecy of his birth, his childhood, ministry, death, resurrection and ascension through narratives, songs and dance. The realistic portrait of his life included the Baptism by John the Baptist using real water baptism, interactions with his disciples, his miracles, riding into Jerusalem on a real donkey, his crucifixion, resurrection, proclaiming the Great Commission and ascension to Heaven. The attention to detail was evident throughout the entire performance. The large cast of adults and children even included animals. We were transported back to that time and not just watching a play. The quality of the acting, singing, sets and costumes were truly amazing. Words cannot adequately describe the performance. The performers truly brought the Bible to life.

The Promise ended with a standing ovation and thunderous applause. Each one of us left with a feeling of awe for what we had experienced.

The Promise reminds us of the love Jesus has for us, and we want to share this love with you. Fellowship At The Ranch is a non-denominational church that meets each Sunday at 10:30 a.m. in our beautiful Robson Ranch Clubhouse.
