When there is a need, more than likely you’ll find a Kiwanian from Robson Ranch reaching out to help. It is in our DNA. Such was the case when Denton’s Department of Parks and Recreation asked for help in renovating the playground at Eureka Park.

A team of enthusiastic Kiwanians descended on the Park with tools in hand to help build a park of memories. This was truly a community-wide endeavor with volunteers from all over the city. Jerry Waynant led a team of Kiwanians experienced in building ramps for the disabled to allow easy access to their homes. We just repurposed the tools. The team included Jerry, Bill Wright, John Chorba, Lee Cash, Bruce Walker, Doug Williams, Larry Brown, Dave Everly, Bill Rauhauser, Jim Ryerson, Gary and Doris Koenig, Kiwanis of Robson Ranch President Barbara Leurig, Alice Wright and Susan Galbraith.

Kiwanis at Robson Ranch is involved in multiple events throughout the year providing community outreach, especially projects benefiting kids. It is our mission. It is our passion.
