On February 12 the Lady Wildhorse Niners met the icy weather with a warm meet and greet to old members and new. Everyone had been asked to dust off their putters and be ready to be challenged. Members and newbies alike were confronted, or maybe confounded is the right word, to describe the 5-hole putting course set up by our new golf Pro Roger Martinez. It was supposed to be a par 11 course, but many max 5’s were posted. Our winner, carding an 11, was Bev Anderson (watch out for this one; she is a new member!) Second was Annette Graham and third (it was a tie breaker) Kim Satterfield. Assisting Roger with this chaotic fun were our golf instructors Dave Bowles and Tyler Clark. Amazingly, ten ladies had a hole-in–one! Everyone now seems in the mood for opening playday, March 12.
