Please welcome one of our newer vendors, Andiez Candiez, owned and operated by a newly retired couple, Andy and Teresa Diegel. What better way to have fun, keep busy, and make a few dollars than going into the candy business.
The couple was inspired by their friends in Washington State who are having fun creating new and colorful candies. If you’re wondering about the process, let Andy tell you. He is the process guy! He and Teresa first buy a variety of candy. From there, Andy puts them in a cold chamber that reads approximately -30 degrees. The chamber holds four rows of candy. The cold chamber extracts the moisture, which freeze-dries the candy into a new, colorful treat. The fascinating process has been approved and certified by the Texas Cottage Laws and has become a popular and creative new item nationwide.
Andy is a former software information technologist from Houston, Texas, and Teresa has spent decades working in direct sales and marketing.
Andy and Teresa recently attended the Pilot Point Bonnie & Clyde Days where their candies were a great hit. They’ll soon be attending the Vintage Market Days in Kansas.
This is the perfect season for colorful and unusual candy purchases. Your guests will wonder where you got them. Stop by and visit the delightful couple. You’ll love their fun selection of candies.
