Dementia 101 was presented to an audience of over 80 Robson Ranch residents at the clubhouse on January 7, 2015. The presentation speaker was Corey Tague, Director of Education at ARC Home Health Heritage Hospice and Patrick Rogers, Vice President of Marketing at ARC Home Health Heritage Hospice.

The topics of this presentation included:

Normal Aging versus Dementia

Types of Dementia: reversible and irreversible

Explanation of Irreversible Types of Dementia

Keys to Communication with a Person with Dementia

Understanding Alzheimer’s Disease

The presentation lasted over an hour with additional time given to residents who had questions concerning this topic.

DATCU provided refreshments and ended the presentation with door prizes.
